What Should I Expect When I Arrive?

When you arrive please find your seat, keeping three seats between you and the next group to help maintain social distance.  We will have ushers to assist you so we can ensure that we maintain social distance.

If you have not already done so this is a great time to download the church APP where you can follow along with the sermon and take notes, stay up to date on everything going on at GHC, and submit your prayer requests through our digital connection card.  The APP is available for free; simply search “Grace Heartland Church” in your app store.

We encourage everyone to take certain steps to protect themselves and others from coronavirus, flu, and other illnesses. We recommend wearing a mask.  We will have masks available for those who do not have one or forget to bring one.  Stay home if you are sick or have been in close contact with someone who is. Please refrain from hugging or shaking hands. After the service you are welcome and encouraged to spend time fellowshipping with one another, but we do ask that you maintain social distance.

We will see you soon!

What If I'm Not Ready To Attend In Person?

We understand that for some it will be a while before you feel comfortable attending in person.  We hope that you will join us in person as soon as you are comfortable and able to do so.  In the meantime it is really important that you stay connected.  We believe that being connected in community is a vital part of what it means to follow Christ.  Experiencing a community of love, prayer and support is essential to the hope, healing and restoration we are all seeking.  This is true now more than ever.  Here are a few ways you can stay connected during this time:

  • Worship with us online.  Our worship service will continue to premier on our facebook page on Sundays at 10:15 and will be available on the media page of our website.
  • Connect to a small group or one of our Sunday morning Bible Fellowship groups.  We have groups that are meeting in person and online.  To check out some of our groups click here, or fill our our small group form and we will help find a group that's a good fit for you.
  • Stay informed.  Below you will see all the ways you, your children, and your students can stay connected with us each week.  Please check back regularly for updates.  Please do everything you can to stay connecting during this time.

If you have any needs, concerns, or prayer requests please let us know by filling out our connection card.

current Week

Join us this Sunday, October 4 as we kick-off a new sermon series - Stranger Things.  There are stories in the Bible that might make us uncomfortable, but that doesn’t mean they should be ignored. "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16), right? The Bible’s stranger things deserve our attention. We can gain much from these stories.  In the month of October we are going to take a closer look at 4 of these stories...Saul and the Witch of Endor (1 Samuel 28), The Seven Sons of Sceva (Acts 19:13-20), Elisha and the Bears (2 Kings 2:23-25), and The Lady and the Dragon (Revelation 12:3-12).  You can join us on Facebook Live as well as on our APP or website on Sundays at 10:15am, or join us on campus at 9am, 10:30 am and 11:50 as we gather to worship.

SUNDAYS - Join us on campus Sundays at 9:00.  For more info or to register your child, click here. Can't attend on campus yet?  Each week we will upload videos for your family to enjoy Sunday and Wednesday. For your Sunday morning family worship, we include activities that you can do together to take learning further (just click on resources under the video)! You can find the videos on our GHC KIDS PAGE.

WEDNESDAYS - We will be welcoming Kindergarten-5th grade children back on campus for WOW Wednesday nights 6:30-7:30pm.  With a limited capacity of 50 children we are asking you to register your child for our second session of WOW (September 2-November 18).  WOW REGISTRATION.

SUNDAYS - If you are (or have) a student in grades 6-12, we are VERY excited to welcome them IN-PERSON Sunday mornings at 9:00am in the GHC FLC gym. We'll have four groups: HS girls, HS guys, MS girls, MS guys. Donuts and friendly faces will be waiting for you when you arrive. In the gym, seats are spaced out 6' from one another, and we ask that you maintain that distance as a courtesy to others. Please come wearing a MASK, and plan to leave that on until we are in our spaced-circles.

WEDNESDAYS - We will host WNL IN-PERSON AND ONLINE SIMULTANEOUSLY every Wednesday 6:30-7:30pm. Yes, you heard it correctly, we will livestream WNL so that those who cannot make it in-person are able to join us on Youtube: We'll have games, sermons, worship, mixers, giveaways and more! And starting this Wednesday, September 9, we will have two consecutive WNL’s!!!! 6:30 & 7:30pm. Come to WHICHEVER ONE YOU WANT. To make it simpler for families, they will NOT be divided by age groups. (We don’t want parents with younger and older students to have to make multiple trips to church each Wednesday.) Simply decide which one is most convenient for your schedule, and come to that one. In the Core, our chairs are assembled on a 6' by 6' grid, so that students will NOT be in one another's "bubble", yet they will be able to interact freely from a safer distance. Our expectation is 100% of our students and adult leaders will be wearing masks when we arrive, when we are in transition periods like in hallways, and also when we are singing; the rest of the night we will be 6' apart and can relax those masks and let them down to be more comfortable. We are VERY excited to see and catch up with all of you!

Our GHC Students Instagram will be a main line of communication to our students. (Although, parents are welcome to follow also!).  Our GHC Student FB group will be our main line of communication with our parents. (Although, students are welcome to join also!)  More details to come about Sunday Small Groups.

PAUSE.  Tuesdays at 12:30pm, Jeff will go live on GHC Facebook page for a midday pause.
